Testimonials

Lincoln Family Services
I have an increased awareness of micro and macro aggressions in supervision. I will be more aware of similarity bias when hiring staff and continue to do self-work. I would love to see this be an org-wide training. It was really refreshing to discuss these issues in a safe space.

Oakland Public Library
It was very helpful to think of my own identity on a spectrum instead of a binary, and I will be more mindful of/alert for microaggressions.

Community Works
I learned to not feel uncomfortable asking questions, so now I have a better understanding of terminology and how to talk to youth about using appropriate pronouns. I also learned not to make assumptions based on appearance and reflect on some microaggressions I may have used with clients.
