Current Peer Groups

Pacific Center offers ongoing, drop-in, peer-facilitated groups covering a range of topics and issues important to our communities. These groups provide connection, support, information, and enjoyment. Peer groups are volunteer-led and are not therapy groups.

A majority of our peer groups are now meeting virtually, most on Zoom.  Some groups have increased their frequency! Please click on the link for the group of your interest to email the group and for a link to join the next meeting.  If you have more questions please contact the program director via email: shanna@pacificcenter.org.

Suggested donations for peer group attendees is $5 to $20 per group meeting.  No one is turned away for lack of funds. We are happy to accept donations for our peer group programs through our website, Text-to-Donate, or via snail mail.

Become a Peer Group Facilitator!

The Peer Support Program is one of the cornerstones of our services at Pacific Center. Peer groups are run by trained peer facilitators and provide free support to the queer community through weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly support groups. If you have attended at least three peer support group meetings and are interested in becoming a peer group facilitator or starting your own support group, here are the steps:

1. Complete the Peer Group Facilitator application

2. Schedule a short interview with our Community Programs Director.

3. Attend one of our quarterly onboarding and orientation trainings.

For more information please contact our Community Programs Director, Shanna Bowie, via email at shanna@pacificcenter.org
