Don’t know where to turn because someone you love drinks too much? Al-Anon can help.
Al-Anon Meeting at Pacific Center
Mondays, 7 – 8 pm
The Al-Anon Family Groups — al-anon.org — are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope in order to solve their common problems.
Pacific Center provides peer groups, individual counseling and other services to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer community. Al-Anon meetings may have a particular focus, but are open to all.
Contact this meeting’s coordinator, Courtenay R., firstname.lastname@example.org or (510) 541-3253.
For more information about Al-Anon, including a full meeting schedule, please visit www.ncwsa.org/d26 or call 510-528-4379 (recorded message).
Queer Femmes Support Group
Every 2nd Tuesdays
7:00 – 9:00 PM
This group is for anyone who identifies, has ever identified, or is wondering about identifying as a Queer Femme, whatever that means to you. We welcome all bodies and backgrounds, styles spectrums and presentations, as long as you’re 18+.
Also, we are hoping to expand the peer facilitation leadership to include trans*, intersex, POC, and/or folks of any/many other femme identity intersections (the current peer facilitators are two white cisgender ladies).
